Christopher Glover, known as Penguin Prison, is a producer and DJ based out of New York City who is bringing something new to the electronic music table. Penguin Prison specializes in bringing back ’70s disco but with new age production styles. He’s been pumping out tons of remixes and mixes over the past few months, and I really think its only a matter of time before you start to see Penguin Prison at all of your favorite EDM festivals.
Penguin Prison’s remix of Hockey’s “My Mind” is a perfect summer jam for hanging out by the pool or partying with your friends. Its got a very retronica sound to it with analog synths, but clean vocals and smooth, upbeat drums make this a welcome change from standard dance music.
