Deadmau5 is known to many as the outspoken face of electronic dance music. He is coming off of a successful album release with ‘>album title goes here<‘ and today he dropped us another treat on his SoundCloud. Around two weeks ago we got some “Invaderstep” with an original record titled ‘Arcadia‘, this week we are graced with a remix of How to Destroy Angels‘ ‘Ice Age’.
Joel’s rework dosen’t stray to far from the original, it follows the path of ‘Arcadia’ in that it is extremely mellow and chilled out. He completely drowns the vocals with different effects and surrounds them with some futuristic electronic sounds. Properly labeled as ‘HTDAstep’ the record gives off the lighter choppy aspect of dubstep.
