Australia’s Hydraulix has just dropped another huge track on bass label Wakaan. He counts releases with the likes of TWONK, Quality Goods Records and Never Say Die, and has just crafted ’Spanner’.
Paying homage to the trap and bass scene that he has been heavily involved in for some time, ‘Spanner’ brings energy levels to overwhelming heights with this 174BPM stomper.
The results are everything we’d hoped it would be as Hydraulix tells us:
“I first heard jump up drum & bass in the form of DJ Hazard’s ‘Mr Happy’ in 2010. I instantly fell in love with the infectious nature of the melody and subsequently did a trap bootleg of the track in 2014 – it was the first music I’d produced that got any traction, even though DJ Hazard publicly roasted me on Twitter for remixing the track without permission…’’
“Spanner” features Hydraulix at his very best in his never-ending quest to elevate the dancefloor to a higher plane of consciousness. Take a listen to the track below!
