Our Favorite Trap Remix of Calvin Harris Ft. Ellie Goulding ‘I Need Your Love’ By Luke Shay

The first time I met Luke Shay he played a progressive electro tune for me at 3am in the lobby of a Marriott, beers in hand, kickin’ it after euphoric hours of Bassnectar live. I expressed my appeal for the track and told him to keep in touch as something told me their was an uncanny sound and ability in his production.  Months passed and he came to me with ‘Twerk‘, which I happily featured on the site. Shay followed suit with two more original tracks and his development, albeit in the trap sub-genre has been inspiring to say the least.

Here is an 808 remix of Ellie & Calvin’s I Need Your Love that has received support from respected artists like The Hi-Yahs and DJ Slink, with one I. While Shay has steadily been on trapstyle of late, he has other works in progress that will show the range and extent of his skills. Stay tuned…
