Afrojack’s remix of Keane’s ‘Sovereign Light Cafe’ is Out Now

It’s always interesting when producers grab pieces from other genres and transform them into something new and exciting. Whether that transmutation is drastic or slight is entirely inconsequential. Afrojack‘s remix of Keane‘s ‘Sovereign Light Cafe’ is a great example of this, he takes an alternative rock tune and brings it into the electro house realm.

Nick keeps the meaningful vocals from the original version, he drowns them in sounds that bring out their spirit lifting qualities. The steady progressive buildup and rave evoking drop make this is a “must listen to” record. Every time I hear this tune it’s difficult not to sing along. Afrojack’s remix of Keane’s ‘Sovereign Light Cafe’ was released on December 24th via Wall Recordings and is now available on Beatport.
