Kerala is the exciting new project focusing on more electronic sounds, from member of the band Evanoff. The first single off of upcoming EP Escapism, “Different Light” captures the ambiance of the small jungle village in Costa Rica in which is was conceptualized. It features bright, inspiring chords that transport the listener to visions of beachy sunsets. As someone who enjoys immersing himself in in unique places, it seems that this track does exactly that.
After years of touring with jamtronica/electronic rock band Evanoff, Evanoff has branched off to explore different avenues of sound design. The project’s mission is to provide euphoric and uplifting experiences through music, break down cultural boundaries, and explore the world in order to gain a better understanding of humanity.
The uplifting melodic notes build into a powerful chorus, creating a beautifully composed soundscape. This track showcases vocals from Taylor Tuke that only add to this powerful track. Keep an eye out for the full EP release, this surely won’t be one to miss.
