Dani Deahl is one of my personal favorite female DJs, hailing from the Windy City, she brings some of the heaviest house beats around. Her latest remix of “Lights” to be apart of Klaypex’s remix package delivers a fresh house sound to this dubstep dynamo. If you compare the two tracks side by side, it’s almost hard to believe it’s the same song. That’s the beauty of electronic music, you can use the same stems but have two completely different tracks come out of it.
For this remix, Dani Deahl has kept the chopped vocals for the intro, but added a really fun bounce to the drop. It’s got a Showtek meets Chuckie feel to it, and I am really diggin’ the final product.
