We have copious amounts of love for Krewella here on WRR. Their recent success and almost cult following can be attributed to a couple different things – first being a certain passion they are able to evoke as a collective package of singers/ songwriters/ producers. Fans flock to their sets, belt every word, and are able to relate those emotions directly to the threesome on stage. Sure, they thrive from dirty mental beats, seductive lyrics and tantalizing melodies…but the connection they have with their devoted fans is unlike any other in the industry right now.
I’m a sucker for ‘Alive’ but this new release ‘Come & Get It‘ quickly replaced my progressive favorite with some thrilling dnb. Addictive lyrics and bass lines that have me succombing to rage face in front of my computer. It may or may not look similar to gymnast Kayla Maroney’s ‘not impressed face‘. Anyway, enjoy this little gem and be on the lookout for their ‘Play Harder’ EP set to drop 12/10.
