Last night at Marquee Las Vegas, Beats by Dre sponsored a performance with Interscope poster boy Zedd and former corrections officer turned rap game kingpin Rick Ross. We’re going to see more and more of hip hop and EDM combinations this year, but seeing little Anton Zaslavski behind the decks rocking his traktor setup with Rick Ross grunting around it must have been one for the ages.
I’m heading into Sin City for the first time since electronic dance music has taken over and will be catching Krewella with Bassjackers (tickets) at Marquee on Saturday night. Not only am I excited to see Krewella again, but curious about the Marquee experience. I always see Kaskade tweeting about how epic the club is and how he leaves there after playing four hour sets unable to see straight. I just re-read GQ’s 24 Hours at Marquee and now I’m tingling with nervous excitement.
We aren’t millionaires yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t party like it. (tweet this)
I know you guys are with me on that last quote. It’s why we ball out for bottle service, vip tickets to festivals and high rise hotel suites. There’s nothing like living the fast life even at the expense of our checking accounts. So when I head to Marquee I’ll be bringing back full review of the experience, expectations and recommendations on what to do. Well at least whatever I can remember.
Note: If you’re a local, frequent attendee or degenerate gambler, let me know what I need to check out while I’m out there.
