We already know that next festival season is going to be bigger than ever before, but who said you have to wait until then? MCP Presents and Highland Entertainment have come together to expand Lights All Night to a three day format, formally making it a full electronic music festival and one of the biggest New Years Eve 2013 parties on the planet.
One look at the at the Lights All Night and you immediately get those pre-festival jitters and start thinking about what members of your crew are down for a trip to Dallas. Instead of just announcing who is playing at LAN, they have already put out a day-by-day lineup and released single day tickets. So if you’re not sold on making a three day commitment or you have other plans with non edm friends (ditch them ;)) you can still go ahead and buy your tickets now.
Lights All Night 2012 Lineup
We’re going to feature more on a day by day basis, but Lights All Night is a full EDM festival and a legendary way to start 2013.
Getting To and Staying at Lights All Night
This will be my first trip to Dallas and I’ll be flying into Dallas Fort Worth Airport, the fourth largest airport in the country. American Airlines is the main hub there, so check their website AA.com for pricing because they will probably be the cheapest. No matter where you end up booking from, do it sooner rather than later because the price for flying around New Years Eve will continue to go up. If you can, get there a day earlier or stay a day later with a friend to save on your flight cost. It can make a tremendous difference flying one day earlier or later.
The festival takes place in Fair Park, which is only a few miles from the Main Street District where there are a ton of boutique and more upscale hotel accomodations. Hotel Indigo has partnered with the festival and offers transportation to and from the event. If you plan on staying there, you may want to consider one of the travel packages to save some extra money.
Overall given the size of DFW Airport and the abundant number of hotels, traveling to Dallas is pretty affordable. If you’re doing some price reasearch, I recommend using either Kayak or Hipmunk.
Lights All Night 2013 Tickets
Tickets for the event are currently on Tier 2 and only $185 plus fees for the three day festival. That’s an incredibly low price to see artists like Calvin Harris, Bassnectar and Axwell so don’t expect it to last for long. If you’re traveling from outside of Dallas, it’s probably best to get your plane ticket first. So get book your flight then jump on the payment plan for three payments of $61.
Look forward to our daily breakdown of who you need to catch at Lights All Night, artist updates and maybe a set of free tickets. 🙂
