If you were around for EDM in the early 2010’s Maison & Dragen was an act that you couldn’t ignore. Whether it was Armada releases or official remixes for the likes of heavyweights Paul Oakenfold and Armin van Buuren, the duo were everywhere. After releasing a full length album in 2014, the duo decided that they were ready for a break.
But no more.
The duo are back and have already released their new single “I Won’t Back Down” and now a mix. Obviously it was expected that their sound was to be somewhat adjusted to the changing tastes of 2016 electronic music fans. The ways in which Maison & Dragen have shifted it is pretty awesome. Their focusing on the pop side of the deep house / chill house world. The overall sound is something that has only been born in the last year or two. The vibe Maison & Dragen take on is inspiring and flat out fun. Their mix encompasses their joyous vibe plus more, dive in above.
