Nero has returned, releasing two new tracks on Soundcloud under the playlist/album 2808, seemingly paying homage to their debut album Welcome Reality, with it’s first track “2808” and the following track “Doomsday” with the lyrics “December the 1, 2808, Doomsday.”
The two tracks “Blade Runner 2049” Demo and “Innocence (Reopened)” both showcase what Nero does best. Dark, grim, haunting, electronic, and complex tracks. “Innocense (Reopened)” takes us back to the original track from Welcome Reality, but changes the tempo with heavier bass, darker synths, and an elevated orchestral rise that we’ve had on repeat for the past day.
Fingers crossed that this is a sign of a lot more new tracks to come.
