Today is the day we have been waiting for, with North Coast Festival announcing the the additions of Phase 2 and now we have our complete full lineup below:
New editions include Matt and Kim who bring substantial amounts of life and energy to the stage, Umphrey’s McGee who are North Coast Festival veterans (2016 will mark their third time at the festival), and The Floozies, two brothers who mix funky sounds with the electronic music that we all love. Bauuer, who is best known for the “Harlem Shake” and Brillz who has had two top ten albums in the iTunes dance charts have also been added to the lineup.
But it doesn’t stop there. Justin Martin is going to bring all of the Dirtybird power with his recent breakthrough album Hello Clouds, and Louis Fulton will bring some low tempo if you need a dancing slowdown, but never a slowdown of talent. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg with Tauk, Twiddle, and Hotel Garuda also showing up. The next 92 days will crawl by with this edgy line up to look forward to on Labor Day weekend.

North Coast Festival promoter Max Wagner has also announced that two teams of Chicago Police Officers will be added to the private security this year so all of the attendees will safe in their surroundings. The festival is giving $10,000 to the advisory council of Chicago, creating jobs for the community during the festival week.
