Elements Music & Arts Festival announced last week that the event was leaving its Brooklyn home and moving uptown to the Bronx.
For the last several years, Elements took place in an industrial waterfront location in Red Hook. The new location in Hunts Point promises to maintain that same, only-in-NYC gritty feel yet in a larger space. The new spot – a short walk from the 6 train at 149th Street – will allow for more people, more art and activities, and more shaded areas where attendees can take a break from the heat.
As always, Elements will be filled with art cars and performers, and feature five element-themed stages. New this year are interactive theater, a health and wellness area, a thunderdome, and other surprises.
Also new this year is the event’s length, which expands from one day to two, and will take place on August 12-13. Time is running out, as are tickets – so snap yours up today. The lineup is absolutely stacked, and includes GRiZ, Zeds Dead, The Knocks, Flying Lotus, Bakermat, Justin Martin, and so many more. This is a truly unique event that you don’t want to miss.
