Ookay’s melodious “Bad Habits” begins with the artist’s own vocals floating atop a catchy synth progression, and builds up toward a future bass-inflected drop laden with infectious rhythm. Lyrically, the track focuses on the unfortunate nature of one possessing incredible attraction toward a clearly incompatible other person. True to the Ookay sound, despite the almost melancholy theme, “Bad Habits” is nothing short of fun and intriguing.
Abraham Laguna, known predominantly as Ookay, began his career in the dance industry while in his early twenties and in community college. Eventually progressing into the trap-oriented style he’s become known for, he garnered copious amounts of attention and acclaim. Since bringing out Kenny G at EDC Las Vegas and selling out Fonda Theatre Los Angeles, Ookay’s live shows have been in demand to say the least.
