Mix together classic house tunes and a full orchestra, and you have Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics concept, which will take place at the Hollywood Bowl on November 9th. The legendary producer amazed fans with his Ibiza Classics live shows last year, and now he is bringing his one-of-a-kind performance stateside. The innovative Heritage Orchestra and famed conductor Jules Buckley will be accompanying Tong for his Los Angeles takeover.
Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics began a couple of years ago at the BBC late night Ibiza Prom, where Tong worked with Buckley, the esteemed Heritage Orchestra, and artistic director Chris Wheeler to pioneer a show that fused dance and orchestral music. It was a audacious move by Tong, but it resonated with his fans, selling out arena shows across England and resulting in an official album release that held the #1 spot on the UK’s globally recognized album chart.
