Today a petition hit the internet titled “Ban Joel Thomas “deadmau5” Zimmerman from performing and/or appearing at any music festival based in the United States” and I can’t help but giggle at it. I’m going to guess that this start-up has something to do with the trolling that Joel committed at Ultra Music Festival.
I knew fans were sour, but starting a petition on ‘petitions.whitehouse.gov’ is next level butthurt. Though, this effort seemingly comes off as a joke, you just never know I guess – so much trolling. However, to think that 100,000 would sign this it is outrageous. It’s quite hilarious that I see people seriously promoting this all over the interwebz. 14 people has signed this… only 99,986 to go.

Deadmau5 trolled electronic dance aficionados by playing Animals, Old McDonald Had a Farm, and Levels sarcastically during his set at the Ultra Music Festival.
We urge Barack Obama to use all the powers of the presidency to ensure this never happens again.
