True Music Xperience and Relentless Beats have just announced a partnership that will benefit the electronic music scene in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The effort is labeled as the Phoenix Lights Festival, and is set to take place at Civic Space Park on March 22nd, 2015.
The Phoenix area is in need of a larger electronic music presence, so it makes sense that these two event creation forces come together to deliver a one-day, bi-annual experience that’ll plant a seed for further growth opportunities. With True Music’s experience with True Music Festival and Relentless Beats’ knowledge of thoughtful and crisp event production, this event is set to be one of the strongest one-day efforts of 2015.
“With Phoenix Lights, we wanted to take the experience well beyond just the music. Our partnership with Relentless Beats elevates what fans can expect, from world class musical talent to incorporating other sensory elements that focus on the theme of light.” – Jarid Dietrich, festival organizer.
With this inaugural announcement comes the announment of the festival headliner, Hardwell, who’s also slated to release his debut album at the end of this month. Meaning the Phoenix Lights Festival will be one of the first few locations to hear the DJ Mag #1 DJ’s new material on a world-class sound-system.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring this concept to the city of Phoenix. Phoenix Lights will be something that fans will look forward to for years to come.” – Thomas Turner, Relentless Beats founder.
More about the Phoenix Lights Festival
The location of this festival is brilliant as the Civic Space Park hosts a urban setting in Downtown Phoenix. The ASU Downtown Campus and the Central Station METRO Light Rail and bus transfer stations are very close, making transportation for locals and college students effortless.
The festival will be priding itself on appearance, it will be using light as the primary form of expression and fans can expect cutting edge visuals, unique stage design, interactive experiential installations and more. Also, the festival will be hosting art installations by over 30 local artists, making it a staple for Phoenix-based culture, style and creativity.
If these details don’t excite you enough, the theme is inspired by the infamous UFO spotting nearly 20 years ago. That idea will beconstant through out the grounds and through the performances. Spring in Phoenix is looking extremely bright and will only get brighter when the rest of the Phoenix Lights Festival lineup is released in the coming weeks.
