Ephwurd – Money (feat. Fatman Scoop)
Let’s start off the week right with this high energy bass house track that features legendary hype man Fatman Scoop. Ephwurd is no stranger to powerful wobbles that will get you shuffling instantly and alongside Mr. Scoop they are one duo that is bursting at the seams with life. “Money” is definitely going to be a heavy house staple in sets worldwide!
Curbi – RUDE
Back with Spinnin’ Records once more is the guy who crafted his own powerful sound Curbi. “RUDE” screams this artists name with all the signature elements and sounds embedded in a robust tune. You’ll quickly get hooked on this UK sound while getting your feet grooving.
LIHO – The Upside Down
LIHO is here to help add one more item to your list of Stanger Things addictions. Just like everyone else I know, he couldn’t seem to kick that infectious opening theme out of his head and what resulted was a track that had me hooked instantly. “The Upside Down” takes the intro arpeggios and turns them into an electronic tune that hold its on weight without the need to include any vocals, besides Dustin shouting of course.
Gentlemens Club – 6000
Everyones favorite UK bass trio is here to deliver their next hit off Diamond Tape titled “6000” and this is one to not miss. Between the madness that is this track and the long intro that runs tension high, you’ll be wishing to hear this live with subwoofers galore. In the meantime, make sure to check out the entirety that is this album.
ACRAZE – PULL UP
ACRAZE is the latest artist to join the MACA family and what a great edition he is. His release “PULL UP” features some low end that seriously moves and synths that can only be described as a squeaky bed gone wild. This jersey influenced tune will surely get any crowd rowdy and ready to mosh!
Hi I’m Ghost – Spooky Riddim
This eerie duo is one that I wouldn’t mind being haunted by. Their record “Spooky Riddim” is one that should come with a warning label, because your necks will be sore. Even though there are cute vocals infused into this heavy single, you’ll think these drops are far from attractive with their brutal bass. Also, don’t be that person who falls for the false drop, it’s a trap!
AFK – Boss (feat. Cody Ray)
I wouldn’t let AFK’s small following worry you, this track is packing a larger than life sound! “Boss” is another song this week that should have proper neck stretches done before listening. You’ll be hanging on to the rails and going wild with these drops, that’s a guarantee. Cody Ray helps lay down the perfect vocals and breath some fresh air into this release that strays from overused samples.
FVCKDIVMONDS – Fresh One
Atlanta’s Block Society is back with another great track from the artist FVCKDIVMONDS. “Fresh One” will help you get your dancing feet going with this shuffle friendly release. Each drop and wub will get you to stop standing still and start head nodding to the pounding kick!
Cofresi – New Thing (Feat. Ehiorobo)
“New Thing” is Cofresi’s new track that also features Ehiorobo, the first vocal collaboration from the artist. The release is also the first single to kick off the six track EP coming up. This mesmerizing future bass tune will catch your lighter side wide smooth vocals and banging percussions!
Chris James & On Planets – Fallen
Closing things off and taking us over to the emotional side of Powerful Picks is Chris James & On Planets. The two have teamed up to deliver “Fallen” which was released on Majestic Casual Records. You’ll be caught on each wave of moving chords and emotion as this track helps wind down your evening!
