Since breaking into DJ Mag’s top 100 last year, Project 46 haven’t looked back. They release edits, originals, and remixes on a weekly basis – I feel like they’re always working on new music. I’ve been counting down the days until the release of their three track “Continuum” EP, which is now available as a free download.
“Catatyst”, “Ekho”, and “Waiting” bridge the gap between their progressive electro style. “Catatyst” is a main stage thumper that showcases big-room synths and lengthy builds. While on the other hand “Ekho” provides light summer melodies and sweeps, perfect for relaxing poolside. This brings me to my favorite record off the EP, “Waiting”, a collaboration with Soundwell that features vocals by KORY. It offers uplifting, borderline trance-y synth lines backed by deep kicks and soul-melting lyrics.
