It was only a matter of time before Washington, DC would really start to see the full impact of Insomniac purchasing Club Glow, the owners of Echostage, Soundcheck, and curators of Moonrise Festival come to fruition, and today was hopefully one of many of those days with the lineup announcement for the first ever Project GLOW Festival at RFK Festival Grounds, in Washington, DC.
Two days, two stages, and 30+ artists are promised from 1pm to 11pm daily. RFK Festival Grounds are accessible via the Stadium-Armory subway station, so getting to and from the festival will be a breeze for locals and those traveling in from out of town. As a fellow Washingtonian, I urge you, if you don’t have to drive to the festival, do not. Now let’s look at that juicy lineup:
Trace, house, psy-trance, electronica, dubstep, tech house, big room, electro house…. it’s all there folks. Echostage and Soundcheck have always provided a great mix of every sub-genre of EDM, and clearly Club Glow and Insomniac wanted to showcase what DC has been offering since 1999. Mission accomplished.
Presale began today, Wednesday, January 12th at 10am EST, and regular ticket sales begin Friday, January 14th at 10am EST here.
