The beautiful Red Rocks amphitheatre became a tragic site after a shooting last night injured three people. Flying Lotus, Nas, and Schoolboy Q were scheduled to perform and the shootings occurred during Lotus’ closing set in the amphitheatre’s parking lot. The three victims have been confirmed to be alive but the suspect remains at large.
After the shooting, police shut down the amphitheatre and its parking lot, preventing attendees from entering or leaving. Authorities then searched the property and questioned concert-goers about the shooting. During this investigation, rapper and performer Schoolboy Q was detained by police for unknown reasons.
