Eos is a 15 year old dubstep / electronic producer out of California and ever since his Titanium Release he’s been gaining a lot of attention from dj’s and bloggers alike. I had the privelege to get in contact with this producer to find out a little more about what the 15 year old plans on doing with his career, how he got started and more.
First up though check out his remix of Rihanna ft Calvin Harris’ We found love (Chuckie Remix). The track is an absolute banger and just wait for the massssssssive drop!
Eos is another underage artist that has really made a huge waves online. I also recommend checking out this other 15 year old producer Caveat – Happy Violence remix.

Eos Exclusive Interview
You’ve come onto the scene quickly and dominated the hypem charts with your titanium remix, what’s next for Eos?
Well obviously the Rihanna remix is out now, so now I can take some time to breathe and work on my originals. There are a few that I’m working on at the moment, as well as a new hour long mix that should be coming soon. Also I’m hopefully going to play a few shows in the L.A area in early 2012, leading up to a possible tour over summer depending how things go.
Being a 15 year old producer is incredible, what influenced you to start making music?
In 09, My friend bought a turntable set and got me into djing. We used to just mess around with it, playing bloody beetroots, MSTRKRFT and other crazy electro, nu disco artists of the sorts. Then we started doing house parties with the our new pioneer equipment that we bought together in 8th grade. I loved the feeling of performing and being responsible for something important to having a good time…. then I started getting into house music around that same time. My passion for it forced me to start learning how to make it, I know how to play piano which has helped me a lot and I have always loved computers so I got myself a copy of Logic Pro and slowly but surely started practicing and it just happened that I got better.
What do your friends and family think about your ambition?
My family has been supportive from the start, they think its awesome that I’m doing something I love and that there is potential for me to do this for a while. A lot of my friends and my closer ones also think its great and they are excited for me and what potentially lies ahead. Some are saying now “are you going to remember me?” haha of course.
But this wasn’t always the case. A while ago when I first started getting into tech house, house, and electro a lot my friends sarcastically made fun of me in 09, because none of them even knew what it was, no one here really knew what dubstep or house was, especially at my age…. they would joke with me for bringing my laptop to school and making music they’d say “oh its DJ Leo” and then proceed to make obnoxious fake dj scratching noises. But now in the last year some of come up to me and apologized and have actually even asked for me to send them new music.
Any plans for future shows?
There are a few big things in the works that I can’t discuss right now because nothings official yet, but hopefully I can start to play some shows in L.A very soon if the venues will let me. It’s been tough because of my age, but hopefully they can look past that and just see my music and what I’m doing. I’d really like to get out to the East coast and do a few shows there as well, and basically I’d like to go anywhere that my fans are.
What do we need to look out from you in the future?
I’m working on a couple things at the moment. You can look for a new hour mix coming soon, I’m going to be playing some shows hopefully, and I’m constantly working on my originals. Also different genres. I want to branch out and not just stick to strictly dubstep. You can expect me to mix it up a bit in the future. I also would like to shoot for a label with some of these originals so be on the look out for that as well.
