Ehren River Wright, better known as SoDown, is a saxophone-playing producer who has performed Red Rocks, Coachella, Electric Forest, Global Dance, Sonic Bloom, among many more. Arja Adair, better known as Bass Physics, is a Denver-based electronic music producer/musician who has one objective in mind: to have a positive impact on the world through the power of music.
Together they have teamed up to deliver this heavy-hitting bass track exploring the anxieties of our day and age. To quote them:
“Following up on our last collaboration “Pull the Trigger,” we wanted to create another hard hitting bass tune that encompassed both of our unique styles, including heavy bass, saxophone, guitar and hip hop, “Tension” reflects on the current state of the world with social media, climate change, political polarization, inequality, and the impacts of the virus. To us, this tune signifies a realization of the need for change and the motivation to take action.”
