Spencer Tarring is one of the artists that has aided in the expansion of electronic dance music in areas such as Shanghai. In 2009 he not only helped pioneer a sound that now defines a record label and DJ style, but an entire city. Tarring was an original member of the Crooklyn Clan, but now is known for being the founder of Vous Records and winner of Shanghai’s ‘Best DJ’ award two years running.
Spencer is no joke, and with that said North America may not be familiar with his discography. Tarring’s latest release, titled “House Music,” explains the genre on a basic level and commands listeners to groove for a total of five minutes and fifteen seconds.
