Squire has found himself immense success throughout the past twelve months. The Barcelona native, Jaime Alguersuari, has found himself premiering his breakout singles on highly regarded labels like Mobilee, Get Physical, trueCOLORS, and more. Drumming up support with ease from the likes of Rodriguez Jr., Dixon, and BLOND:ISH, Alguersuari, is in the eyes of the industry. This drive behind him comes from a foundation of experience from Formula One racing, Bridges for Music Paris to Amsterdam bike ride, and his desert track ride through the Sahara. All of this passion for life is easily found within his music and provides that extra vitality.
The debut two-tracker EP, The Hidden, takes us on a sonic journey amongst the valleys of deep house. We start things off with the title track, “The Hidden”. A smooth transition of rhythmic interplay takes us in before merging into melodic chimes. A balance between sharp and soft wrapped around effortless vocals, “The Hidden”, is a perfect introduction into the different layers of production Squire is capable of. Capping off the EP, we get a burst of energy with “Miscelanea”. A build of synths kicks us off into the second half and we are in a whirlwind of resonating melody with the pops of high hat and bass snapping at our feet.
