About half an hour ago STS9 released an official statement on their Facebook fan page stating that bassist, David Murphy, will be leaving the group.
Because of the separation, STS9 will be postponing all of their upcoming winter tour dates through February.
Murphy has released this statement for his fans.
Fans responses have been pouring in over Twitter.
Most of David Murphy’s fans associate his name with the popular STS9, but Murphy has been making music with his younger brother, Jay. Their band is named Up Until Now and they had dropped their second EP back in December.
It will be interesting to see how the group moves on from here. Stay tuned for tour updates.
