Swedish House Mafia just sold out their show at Madison Square Garden on Dec 16 in less than one hour into the pre-sale [Club Glow]. They’re looking to re-arrange the stage to add more seating, but still it’s an incredible feat being the first electronic dance music group to sell out the storied venue. Just like the LCD Soundsystem going away show last year, the event has already been cannibalized by soulless scalpers looking to make a profit flipping tickets.
However Swedish House Mafia, did a great job releasing this youtube video prior to the show about how no matter how corporate they try and make edm, it will always be about the dance floor.
Here are a couple of my favorite remixes of their mega-ultra-super hit Save the World. Zedd‘s remix is probably the tastiest that he’s been dropping everywhere on his current tour with Deadmau5.
