Throwback Thursday Week 7: RL Grime’s Halloween 2012 Mixtape

The extra spooky day of October is finally upon us! It felt like only yesterday we featured our first throwback article for the month of October. We’re sure you’ve got a lot of preparations to do to get ready for this weekend and we’re here to help you push through with a 30 minute mix by none other than Mr.Halloween himself, RL Grime. Since 2012, RL has been releasing his yearly Halloween mix that continuously captivates his fan base.

This week we’re kicking it back to that first ever Halloween mix that started a revolution. 2012 was a time when trap was at its peak and RL grime was leading the charge. After the Halloween mix, the RL Grime project began to gain even more traction as his Clockwork moniker began to slow down. In the years that followed we saw Halloween mix after Halloween mix that accumulated insane views on Soundcloud and Youtube.
