It’s October 3rd. That means it’s time for Throwback Thursday.
Welcome back to week three of Throwback Thursday and welcome to our first ever October edition of the Throwback Thursday series. October is a special month for Throwback Thursday for two reasons. First and most obvious being that it’s the one month of the year that we can select from some extra spooky throwback tracks to get into the Halloween spirit. Second and less obvious being that October 31st falls on a Thursday.
That’s right, the Halloween spirit is truly with us this year and we’ll be featuring a special episode to commemorate Throwback Thursday on Halloween. More about that treat as we venture further into October, for now let’s kick off week three with a throwback by none other than Deadmau5 himself.
“Ghosts N Stuff’, the collaboration released with front man of Pendulum, Rob Swire, instantly became a classic upon its release in 2009. The iconic house track is known for its heavy electro sound and it caters to that Deadmau5 era that we all reminisce about. It’s a tune that is easily recognizable with its chords and lyrics that captivated fans so many years ago. This, along with the fact that its name is “Ghosts N Stuff” (and we’re rapidly approaching Halloween), make it the perfect track to kick off TBT October.
