Chicago-based duo, X5IGHT has come a remarkably long way in the past year, having released several noteworthy remixes of tunes from a range of genres, and having even delivered some striking original tunes, with the successful release of their 5:00 Shadow EP in August. Not surprisingly, they have earned lauds from many of the dance music scene’s highly-prominent figures, in addition to garnering a sizeable, and dedicated fan base. Comprised of members Brandon and Jerry, X5IGHT has just dropped a stellar remix of the classic track by Tim Berg (who is now widely known by the alias of Avicii), “Seek Bromance” as a free download for fans.
With the original having been released back in 2010, X5IGHT has managed to breathe new life into the track, revamping the classic house style, coalescing the existing elements with their own signature, modernized, progressive-house style. This remix is infectiously vivacious, and there is no doubt that its bright synths, suspenseful build-ups, and satisfying beat-drops will surely have throngs of people grooving on the dance floor.
Quite impressively, iconic DJ/producer, Tiesto, took notice of this remix, and debuted it during his set at the illustrious Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub last week:
