The New Zealand bass giants Truth come good with their brand new EP, The Unexpected. Out for full release this week is their four-piece collection that shows off some of their latest productions.
The chattering, rhythmically charged title track happens to be the first up for grabs, and fizzes with intense builds and drops. “Goodnight” is a little trippy with those warped vocals, whilst “Creatures” sprinkles in dramatic guitar riffs and sliding synths. “For Sure” is an atmospheric closer, and we already want to hear more from Truth.
