Ultra Music Festival is back and better than ever with the unveiling of their Phase 1 lineup that will touch down in Downtown Miami in 2023. Set to take place from Friday, March 24 – Sunday, March 26, the spectacular weekend experience will return to Bayfront Park. Last year’s Ultra was as memorable as a festival, with a sold-out crowd of 165,000 ravers from all over the globe.
At the helm of the Phase 1 lineup is electronic music’s most prominent trio Swedish House Mafia. The figurehead group has been touring across North America all summer and is now heading to Europe to present their new album Paradise Again live.
Veteran Dutch producer Hardwell is also on the lineup after making a shocking closing set on last year’s Main Stage. Hardwell has revived his jaw-dropping production feats throughout 2022, recently dropping his 14-track studio album REBELS NEVER DIE.
When it comes to trance, there is never any shortage at UMF. Armada label boss Armin van Buuren will orchestrate a stage takeover centered around his popular radio show A State of Trance. The Grammy-nominated producer and DJ have been a vital component of Ultra since debuting back in 2008.
Other returnees are phenoms Zedd and Martin Garrix. Zedd already has a ton of momentum built up from his massive ULTRA Japan set, while Garrix is on fire after headlining ULTRA Korea and ULTRA Japan this year.

In the bass sector of Ultra, lies Canadian superstar REZZ, who has forged her own unique genre of electronic music. Her set of dark hypnotizing bass will be accompanied by the dubstep maestro Subtronics and Ganja White Night for two psychedelic auditory experiences.
Returning to Ultra, for his first headlining slot is multi-platinum selling artist Gryffin. He is joined on the lineup by the dynamic combo of Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE, known as Gigantic NGHTMRE, along with genre-blending artist Kayzo. To balance out these future bass and dubstep performances is Brazilian bass and tech house king Vintage Culture.
One of the most electrifying elements of Ultra is the innovative project RESISTANCE. This year’s venture will feature a special Dirtybird takeover of The Cove stage, supervised by house legend Claude VonStroke. The iconic Megastructure will present Eric Prydz’s technology-infused HOLO performance as well as an unforgettable headlining set from Carl Cox.
Highlighting his diversity as an artist, deadmau5 will be coordinating two headlining sets between his alter ego Testpilot. Kaskade and deamau5’s Kx5 will debut an unprecedented experience while Testpilot goes back-to-back with Oliver Heldens’ renowned techno persona, HI-LO.
With so many talented acts, attendees will also get the chance to see the likes of Timmy Trumpet, Tale Of Us, Grimes, CloZee, and an inaugural Oliver Heldens b2b Tchami. If one thing is certain, Ultra Miami 2023 is on track to be a festival that will cement itself in the ether of modern electronic music culture.
