If, like us, you have been following the musical journey of producer/DJ/label founder UZ over the past few years, you will be aware that this year has been leading up to the release of The Rebirth. Citing the LP as a return to his original trap sound, its release comes alongside Part 1 of his album tour and a renewable of his distinctive performance mask.
There are nine tracks to get fired up with on the album, and are finished off with UZ’s impeccable attention to detail. The most raw sounding pieces are “Rebirth” and “Futon” with signature trap vibes, but other singles such as “Leave It” and “Click” with Macntaj offer up something a bit different.
