Varien Gets Gritty with Industrial Influenced “Ghost In The Shell” Remix

In addition to producing under Varien, Pittsinger also makes anime influenced music under the alias of Koinu. He’s had several remixes surpassing millions of plays on Soundcloud and consistently proves that his musical talents mark him as a force to be reckoned with. Today, we bring you Varien’s latest remix for the popular movie featuring Scarlett Johansson, Ghost In The Shell. Scarlett Johansson plays a cyborg counter cyberterrorist called The Major. It’s set in the distant future and Varien’s remix for the movie is representative of that fact.

The gritty, industrial influenced style that Varien puts forth feels ever suiting of a futuristic cyborg movie. Hard hitting drums derive the intensity from the song and give it an electric, futuristic vibe that makes you feel like you’re in a cyborg universe.
