War’s “Low Rider” was released in 1974 and is a fusion between jazz, funk and latin rock. It was a single off the album “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” and proved to be a very big hit landing many high-profile covers, among other things. Now, in 2014, one of dance music’s most talented up-and-coming acts has chosen to rework it into a club and festival friendly trap anthem. The original track isn’t very party rocking, however, Lookas changes that by adding addictive synth work around his original percussive structure. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to hear this on a world class sound system
