After months of built-up anticipation, Deadmau5 has finally unveiled his new live set up on his international tour, which features some awe-inspiring improvements to his signature “Mau5 Cube”. Lucky for Deadmau5 fans, this video, taken by a fan’s smartphone at Future Music Festival in Sydney, Australia, gives a quick preview of how the new stage design operates in a live setting, which by the looks of the clip, is definitely a remarkable sight to see. Before embarking on his international tour, on which he has been scheduled to play in some exotic locations such as Australia and India, Deadmau5 posted some pictures of the inner workings of “The Cube” on his Instagram account.
Behind all of the LED screens visible to the crowd, the interior of the cube-shaped structure is comprised of cutting-edge performance equipment, such as the state-of-the-art Microsoft touch-screen controller prototypes that Deadmau5 has been setting up over the past few months. This video gives a breathtaking view of the new stage design in action during Deadmau5′ remix of Morgan Page’s “The Longest Road” fused with one of his newer tracks, “Coelacanth”, and will definitely have fans waiting eagerly for him to bring his tour to North America.
