Archnemesis has been hard at work lately, releasing remixes by famed artists as The xx and Nicodemus. Today they released a southern anthem, a remix of “Welcome to Atlanta”. The remix/mash-up features vocals from such artists as Jermaine Dupri, Big Boi, and Ludacris.
The track comes across as a light release, something that we’re not really use to from Archnemesis. The signature glitch-synths that we’re use to from Archnemesis aren’t very present towards the end of the track. Instead, the duo feature a maniacal and jigsaw type of sampling, in which they pick and place different verses behind the music to go perfectly together. The final product is interesting collaboration between dirty south rap and Archnemesis’ glitch. Luckily, the group has released this banger as a free download. Enjoy!
