Yonderville Music & Arts Festival returns for another weekend of experimental art, music and community building deep within the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded in 2017 by Sugarcube Productions, this year’s festival will be held from July 5 – 8 at Verdun Adventure Bound in Rixeyville, VA.
2018 headliners include psychedelic bass-music master Shlump, experimental dubstep pioneers Shadow People, funk fanatics LITZ and electro-jam innovators, Broccoli Samurai. Gracing the lineup’s second-tier slots are sets from a healthy medley of electronic and live musicians including Of The Trees, Big Chocolate, The Widdler, Wax Future, Levitation Jones, Funk You and Daily Bread.
This year’s Yonderville will feature a Thursday pre-party, increased festival capacity, limited car camping, beer and wine gardens stocked by Far Gohn Brewing Company and Mountain Run Winery, plenty of interactive art deco areas and free admission for children 12 and under. In between jamming out at sets, festival goers can participate in yoga sessions, shop around at merch vendors, indulge in treats from a variety of food trucks and enjoy live painting and interactive art installations spread throughout the festival.
