Armed with their first EP for Wakaan this week is the duo known as Zebbler Encanti Experience. The visual and sound guys Peter and Ben have put together End Trance, which is sounding pretty epic.
They fuse electronic and bass flavours together with impeccable production, and it shows throughout the four tracks here. “End Trance” lands first with its steady rhythms and low-end rumbles. Following swiftly is “Trance End,” which gets choppier and rowdier as it progresses.
“Outside The Box” is incredibly creative with its use of dynamics and melodies and Mr. Bills joins ZEE for the anthemic “Inside The Box.”
Describing the EP, they say: “Aside from being our debut EP for Wakaan, it charts new stylistic territories… this release revisits many classic dubstep womps, but also borrows from the fresher neurostep sound, all mixed up. Conceptually, the idea behind End Trance is to break the trance—snapping you violently back to reality. This is very ZEE. In our sonic realm of psychedelic music where artists want to put you in a trance, ZEE is here to wake you from the trance.”
