I don’t think anyone will argue that Zedd’s ‘ Spectrum’ has been one of the best releases of 2012 thus far. The remix contest hosted by Beatport ended 2 days ago and now we have a pretty heavy collection of boss reworks to a track that was already point on.
Let’s take AVB for example. He brings the ever-so developing electro-trance sound to the original. This rework is perhaps the most unique as Armin adds his own soothing piano melody basically producing a track with brand new character and energy. Note: This is a rip from ASOT 568 however the quality is high.
KDrew drops one for the drumstep and bass music fans. KDrew is a recent addition to my radar and I think once you peep this track you will follow suit too. Production is on a really clean, refined level of good sound.
Finally, rising sensation Jakob Liedholm – This kid reminds me of the Avicii that everyone fell in love with. Big festival progressive house that isn’t too aggressive in any manner. Feel good music at it’s finest.
