EDC NY Artist Spotlight: Hot Since 82

There are many things we love about EDC NY, the lineup, the stages, and the location. It’s two days of electric vibes and epic memories created with some of the best artists in electronic dance music. Joining the incredible lineup this year that is giving 2016 a diverse taste in music, is underground, deep house artist Hot Since 82 who will be featured on the Neon Garden Stage.

With a recent appearance on ULTRA’s Arcadia Spider stage, Hot Since 82 knows how to bring raw underground sounds to the forefront and has garnered quick success since his first releases. Daley Padley, aka Hot Since 82, has been featured on Pete Tong’s Essential Mix BBC Radio 1 show twice, once with a 2 hour exclusive mix, and then again in 2015 with a 3 hour set from ENTER at Space, Ibiza, a number 1 spot on Beatport with a remix of Green Velvet’s “Bigger Than Prince” and is gracing world renowned festivals such as UMF, Creamfields, EDC and more.

While all these accomplishments are impressive his creation of Knee Deep in Sound, his own imprint launched in 2014, is a favorite. The goal behind this creation was to release music from up and coming artists that are true to the underground house and vinyl sound and there is no doubt that HS82 has been accomplishing this. Recent releases from artists such as Left Wing & Kody, Luca M and more are perfect examples of the sound that HS82 looks for and their sounds compliment the dark underground style HS82 is known for. There is no question when hearing any of these tracks that they’ve been hand picked by Padley himself.

With recent teasers on his Soundcloud of new music we’re excited to see what Hot Since 82 gets us Knee Deep into in NYC.
