Theres no better group than the TropiKult fam to pile on some extra paradise in Miami as the collective brings chill vibes to this crazy week with their Posiedon’s Paradise Pool Party. The diverse lineup speaks for itself with its mix of artists combining deep and tropical house sounds.
Tropikult was born out of what was a post-Kygo wave of tropical house / melodic house channels and artists at the time – supporting legendary tunes that helped launch the careers of Mike Williams (now signed to Teisto’s Musical Freedom), The Him, Nightowls, and naturally the Tropikult collective which gradually grew in membership.
The collective played a pivotal role in proving to the world that this fusion of chill house and pop was here to stay, being heard by millions, and was very commercially viable (holla H&M’s Spotify playlist). Many hit tunes reposted or uploaded on Tropikult have been removed by SoundCloud, but the impact the channel had then, and continues to have today, is something that will continue to impress. Now onto the artists!
Deep Chills tops the list and this artist’s name explains it all, his smooth mix between tropical and deep house is rock solid, creating vibey poolside atmosphere.
INSTRUM continues this lineup, between producing since the young age of 13 and his experience with hip hop, there’s sure to be some surprises within his set.
Bobby Brush brings ultimate chillaxation during MMW with a spot on this already stacked lineup. His tropical vibes compliment the other artists perfectly and bring another refreshing version of tropical house.
New York native N2N leaves the chilly north to join these artists in paradise. His recent remix of Destiny’s Child, “Say My Name” is an euphoric mellowed out version of a classic 90’s throwback. The deep vocals replacing Queen Bey’s usual killer voice is an unexpected twist, but completely welcome. N2N will undoubtedly bring some heat.
Rounding up this lineup is Panski, known to throw a little bit of country into his chill house sounds. Ellena Soule’s smooth melodic voice brings something completely new to the table – something I can’t wait to experience live.
Between this lineup, support from local artists and special guests still to be announced, this event is one not to miss.
