In celebration of CAPYAC’s sophomore album CAPYAC FOREVER, Anoraak has been tapped to put some tasty sauce on the single “Losing It,” giving it a particularly funky edge that’s hard to beat. The single starts out glitchy, with some computer-sounds permeating the air, soon that saucy bass slides in to add an extra groove factor. Retro vocals give the track some sing-along features, as the mood continues to roll itself out. The single had it’s own level of funk built into it, but Anoraak takes it to the next level through uplifting technicality and a splash of peppiness.
CAPYAC is a fresh endeavor from two seasoned electronic musicians. A supergroup of sorts, Eric Peana (P. Sugz) and Delwin Campbell (Potion), are the dynamic duo behind the name. The mission is to utilize a mixed media wheelhouse of content to entertain, including music, art, fashion, and theatrics which is already winning over fans by the minute.
Released by Eye in the Sky Collective and distributed by ONErpm, CAPYAC are on a roll, with “Losing It (Anoraak Remix)” being the latest example as to why.
