Hakkasan Nightclub is revolutionizing American club life. They started by signing the biggest artists in dance music to HUGE exclusive contracts and are now changing the dance floor as well. The ever elusive deadmau5 took to the club to showoff two brand new mau5bots. Hopefully they will eventually become part of his live shows.

The creations – “12 feet and two tons each of pure mechanical bliss,” apparently – moved in step with Deadmau5’s two-hour ‘Unhooked’ set and extended out into the dancefloor, eyes blazing. At the centre of it all was Zimmerman in his own glowing helmet.
There’s definitely been an evolution of DJ booths and stage production over the past few years, are synchronized robots the next level?
Maybe they’ll start to replace gogo dancers.
