DVRKO’s debut album follows up the drop of “Mean Something,” a successful release from the masked artist. If you caught wind of “Mean Something,” and dug what you heard, then Undone will be an appreciated immersive expansion upon those type of vibes. DVRKO hangs out in the space of role-playing and highly imaginative themes, aiming to take the listener to a space where things are focused less on a face of a human, but more of a cinematic experience that drives the excitement behind the experience.
Released via the label L3V3L, this one of a kind ride features 12 songs which all stand on their own, but each having a certain aura that makes them unique. Tasty basslines, trippy toplines, and an overall moment capturing theme all plays a role in making this album stick. DVRKO’s album is defining in all the right ways, supercharging his 2022 into high-gear.
I created the album at my home studio on loads of modular and vintage synths. Had the opportunity to work with some amazing vocalists, Rama Duke, RUNN, Tyler Graves and SIRAH.
Ultimately I did what felt good and honest to me, feel good house records for the exception of the hard hitting “Talk That Shit” with SIRAH which is prob one of my favs from the body of work.
