Not many DJs can seamlessly brew up bangers that satisfy a wide range of genres, but Fox Stevenson seems to have it down to a science. His latest showpiece comes in the form of a future house collaboration with Mesto, “Chatterbox,” out now on Spinnin’ Records. Supported by industry heavyweights like Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, and Martin Garrix, this track easily lives up to all of the hype as it delivers an energetic, bouncy beat orchestrated with exciting build ups, timely breaks, and Fox Stevenson’s staple melodic tune. Released just this week, it’s already amassed well over 40k listens and is set to cause hysteria on dance floors and festival grounds alike.
Joined by rising Deep and Future House DJ, Mesto, Fox Stevenson releases this first track of 2017 in the wake of an exceptionally exciting year. The multi-talented British DJ saw a very busy year in 2016 as he toured the UK, Europe, and the US, while playing notable festivals like Liquicity. In the midst of the madness, he delivered a number of massive tracks including our hands down favorite drum and bass remix of the year, his and Curbi’s “Hoohah” (VIP Edit). Just before the release of his latest track, this past Sunday he blew the walls off of Webster Hall with Varien and Fient in a special performance that included a roundtable discussion and an extravagant pizza party to close the show. Those who missed out should feel a bit sorry for themselves- it was by far the most mental Sunday both the venue and fans have seen thus far this year.
While Fox Stevenson’s latest track has got us happily bumping around, we’re excited to see what kind of mixes this experimental mastermind will cook up in the coming year.
