Slowly but surely, Pretty Lights is rolling out the new era of his beloved project. The diehard fan-base he boasts has been chomping at the bit for any sliver of information regarding plans for the future. It’s been three years since ACMOTS and two years since his most recent tour, so it’s understandable that fans are on the edge of their seats. Setting off a chain of events and cryptic messages, a couple weeks ago we got to feast our eyes and ears on the music video to “Only Yesterday“, set in Telluride from last year’s two-night run.
Last week, Derek posted a short video on his Twitter…hinting at a five-city run set for later this year. Yesterday, we got treated to details regarding the first of those stops, and it’s fair to say that all expectations have been shattered. Taking place August 5th and 6th at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH, Pretty Lights will bring along his band for a two night show unlike any he’s done before. Supporting acts (legends) Tipper and Atmosphere grace the bill, with G Jones, Big Wild, Marvel Years, Brasstracks and Wax Future rounding it all out.

In familiar fashion, details are a bit sparse and we are unaware of when tickets will go on sale. If we had to guess, details on the next four dates will be coming out soon, possibly the next stop (Red Rocks) today. Keep it posted here for any updates and all things PL in the future. If New Hampshire is any indication, this tour will be as can’t-miss as it gets.
