Printworks, London’s newest warehouse-style venue, has teased its winter lineup today and it’s looking like an excellent season for the run up to Christmas. Already revolutionising the attitude towards electronic music in the UK capital, with more deciding to visit the smaller, darker, underground venues, the 5,000+ capacity venue near Canada Water spread over 119,200 square feet is again welcoming a variety of artists for its Issue 002.
Printworks will kick off the weekly day raves with an opening event on Saturday 7th October headlined by US DJ Maceo Plex and will be showcasing his diverse tech house production in the South London venue. Maceo Plex recently released an album, named after his son, Solar on his new label Lone Romantic which explored a different side to the artist and touched upon genres like electronica, dub and techno. Expect to see the different sides to Maceo Plex at Printworks in October.
Accompanying Maceo Plex will be techno newcomer Rodhad, London local Daniel Avery, IDM artists Mind Against, Germans Vril and Monoloc, dance DJ Fort Romeau, Flemish Charlotte de Witte, Droid Recordings founder Drumcell, Australian artist Bella Sarris, Romanian musician Edward and Spain’s Architectural. Other October events include a day of Black Coffee, The Hydra return to present Ninja Tune and a special 25 Years of Ram event will happen on the 28th October.
Keep an eye out for November and December lineups!
