Coming off an incredible three nights at Red Rocks with Global Dance Festival, Triad Dragons has wasted no time in putting together another premiere electronic dance music event. This time the promotion has teamed up with Beta Nightclub to deliver the 18th Annual SKYLAB: Mission Blackout, Denver’s largest indoor dance music event that will descend attendees into the depths of space and the darkness of their imagination. Embrace the mission and dress as creatures of the night, for it will surely be a memorable experience.
SKYLAB is being headlined by Porter Robinson. Robinson being the 20 year-old prodigy who started producing dubstep and electro tracks like Say My Name, before making a remarkable transition into trance with his latest release Language. The ability to transcend genres while raising the energy level of a crowd to interstellar levels has allowed him to headline his own tour and the main stages at festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Electric Zoo.
Joining Porter will be fellow OWSLA member Zedd, trance legend Gareth Emery, Andy C, Downlink and a host of local talent including Dragon and Ecotek. We were able to catch a set from Emery at Governors Beach last weekend and his trance style will blend perfectly with the atmosphere that Triad and Beta are producing. Meanwhile Zedd is coming off of a career-changing performance at Lollapalooza that has SPIN labeling him as the best way to cure an edm hater.
